My digits!!!
Yes, it is true! I finally have the cell hooked up.. actually another volunteer had an extra phone, so i just had to decode it and get a SIM card inserted..
Here is the number: (011 226) 76 43 94 44
Call me ANYTIME!!! it would be so awesome to hear familiar voices. My parents use a calling card and that seems to work, and I don't think it's very expensive. Yay... I really missed having a cell phone on me at all times!!! sad, but true... I guess I truly was a yuppy after all..
I will be in Bobo til Tuesday. Change of plans, because I have a liver infection, and I have to go back to our Bobo Dr. Monday afternoon. Nothing serious, but he is waiting for some test results or something. It was all in French, and so ya know, I THINK I have a liver infection... ??
Bobo is fun. If any of you decide to come visit we'll tear it up in Bobo. I have been staying with the family of a woman from Padema, who came into Bobo with me. Her family is so nice.. they feed me and wash my clothes and prepare my bucket water for bathing. And there are 2 cute girls who love me and yell "stephanie" when they see me and run and give me hugs, and if i am laying in bed resting they will jump in bed and curl up with me. It's like having my own little sisters. The kids here are really the best!
OK, my friend is waiting, so I have to go, but I will be sending lots of emails Monday probably, because I will have allll day to kill and she is going back to Padema tomorrow.
Call me!

Stephanie - finally had a chance to catch up on your doings - sounds quite exciting. Things have wound down here for the summer, but I am curious if any of the Seedlings have written you? Not sure I could give up the cheeseburgers for so long?! Although after seeing Super Size Me - no more Mickey Ds or BKs for moi! Keep the stories coming and be well. Cheers! Jennifer from NJ Cares and SEEDs.
